Michael Galloway Multiple Sclerosis and Dim Mak
First I would like to thank Dr.Tsui-Po for giving everyone the opportunity to learn Dim mak pressure points, both the healing and self-defense side of this art.
In 2001, I was diagnosed with MS, I had been practicing Martial Arts prior to this point. I had heard of Dim-mak, but never looked into it.
Once I was told I had MS, I thought it might help with some of my MS problems. My most serious MS problem is Trigeminal Neuralgia. I have extreme pain down the left side of my face. So I started looking into Dim-mak.
I have been doing a lot of self-studying in Acupuncture and Dim-Mak since 2001. I have learned a lot from different web-sites. Most American doctors don't know anything about Acupuncture. Depending on which state you live in, the qualifications to practice Acupuncture is so different. So it is a good idea for those of you out there to do some research on the internet.
Since 2001, I have found some pressure points that help with my facial pain. Some of them are ST1-ST2-ST3/ TH22-TH23/ GB1-GB2-GB3. These are just some of the points that I use for my Trigeminal Neuralgia.
I have read a lot of Dr.Tsui-Po's writings, he is a very good teacher and writer, he makes things easy to understand. I have had some success in treating my MS. I can keep the facial pain under control for a while, but it comes back later in the day. For those of you out there, make sure you surf the internet for all the information you can get, and read all of Dr. Tsui-Po's writings. Until next time: Mike
