The Triangle

by Kieran McGeary
(Northern Ireland)

Hi everyone, hope you are all well and own one of Dr Pier's, The Art & Science Of Deadly Pressure Point Fighting Manual, if not you need to get one.

I have been studying pressure points for quite a few years now and really enjoy the Healing Aspect of them even more than the hurting side. I have three pressure points that I like using in a self defence situation but only needs one strike if you train for it.

I call it the Triangle three points on the fore-head Gallbladder 13,14 and 15, I use my fence which is two open hands held up at arms length away from my attacker one slightly higher than the other, pleading to the person that you do not want any trouble. If they proceed to attack, strike out with your open hand palm strike connecting these three points. You will not have to hit them very hard to end the attack.

I will say be careful if practicing with your training partner. Best of luck in your study of Dim Mak and please let me know your favourite point. Thank you. Kieran Clogher Valley Street-wise Ju-Jitsu
